Επειδή τόσες μέρες σας βλέπω να κυμαίνεστε σε χαμηλά επίπεδα ιδού ένα πραγματικό μουσικό έπος που πρέπει να διδάσκεται στα ωδεία (και στο κατηχητικό???). Οι Bathory στα καλύτερά τους με το αριστούργημα One Rode To Asa Bay από το μακρινό 1990 και το Hammerheart.

Κανείς δεν έκανε γιατί απολάμβανε το τραγούδι και το video clip και δεν ήθελε να το κόψει.

Bathory. Ένα από τα μεγάλα κεφάλαια της σκοτεινής πλευράς του Metal. Από τους πρωτεργάτες και νονούς του black metal ήχου μαζί με τους Venom, Celtic Frost, στα early 80s. Πηγή επιρροής για πολλά μελλοντικά συγκροτήματα των 90s. Επίσης νονοί του είδους/παρακλαδιού της black, Avantgarde/Viking Metal με πιο Nordic θεματολογία και epic ήχο. Αρκετά δυνατή παρουσία στην δισκογραφία.

Η ιστορία τελειώνει πρόωρα στις 7 Ιουνίου 2004. Η είδηση κάνει τον γύρο στην μεταλλική σκηνή, και πραγματικά σκορπά μεγάλη θλίψη. Ο Thomas Forsberg aka Quorthon, βρίσκεται νεκρός από ανακοπή καρδιάς στο διαμέρισμα του, μόλις στα 39 του.
Ένα ελάχιστο tribute σε αυτόν αποτελούν οι στίχοι του Hammerheart που ακολουθούν.
